German-based pay-television broadcaster Motorvision TV has broadened its global reach by agreeing carriage deals in Australia, Cyprus, Portugal, Angola and Mozambique.
In Australia, Motorvision TV will be available via pay-television operator Wizzie TV, while it has joined Telekom Malaysia’s IPTV service.
Telecommunications and pay-television operator PrimeTel will offer Motorvision TV in Cyprus, while it will be offered via cable television provider NOS in Portugal.
Satellite-television operator ZAP will include Motorvision TV in its packages in Angola and Mozambique.
The agreements increase Motorvision TV’s reach to 22 countries across four continents.
Motorvision chief executive Raimund Köhler said: “The recent statements represent an absolute milestone for the Motorvision Group in reaching the motorsport enthusiast audience throughout the world. In particular, I am pleased to be partnering with the market leaders in their respective regions, NOS in Portugal and ZAP in Angola and Mozambique, as we can appeal to a whole new audience with Portuguese subtitles.”
