US cable-television channel CBS Sports Network, which is operated by the CBS network, has acquired rights to the World Touring Car Championship’s American event, which takes place at Sonoma Raceway on Sunday.
CBS Sports Network will broadcast both races live from the Californian circuit, offering a repeat of the action later in the evening.
In addition, online motorsports platform Speed2 will broadcast a 24-minute highlight show and the 26-minute ‘Inside WTCC’ magazine programme on September 18.
In Northern California, Comcast SportsNet Bay Area will also broadcast the 30-minute highlight show on September 11, with a number of scheduled re-airings throughout the month of September.
