Coupang Play acquires rights for NHL ice hockey

South Korean ecommerce and streaming company Coupang has acquired exclusive rights for NHL ice hockey in a deal covering the upcoming 2022-23 season.

The company's streaming platform Coupang Play will show two live games per week from the regular season and the playoffs. Coverage begins with Colorado Avalanche v Chicago Blackhawks tomorrow, taking place at 10:30am Korean time. On Sunday at 11am in Korea, Coupang Play will stream live coverage of Calgary Flames v Edmonton Oilers.
