Deutsche Telekom agrees Euros, World Cup rights sharing with free-to-air broadcasters

German telecoms operator Deutsche Telekom has agreed major free-to-air sublicensing deals with ARD, ZDF and RTL that will shape the broadcasting landscape in the country for the next three major international football tournaments.

Public-service broadcasters ARD and ZDF have sublicensed 34 matches from Deutsche Telekom to the 2024 Uefa European Championship, which will be held in Germany.
