International sports broadcaster Eleven Sports Network has acquired rights in Poland for the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga, the top two divisions of club football in Germany.
The four-year deal commences with the 2017-18 season and runs until the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
With the exception of one match per round, all games will be shown exclusively live on Eleven Sports in Poland. Eleven Sports’ coverage will also include news, highlights and comprehensive analysis.
Eleven Sports struck the agreement with DFL Sports Enterprises, the Bundesliga’s commercial rights distributor.
Jörg Daubitzer, managing director of DFL Sports Enterprises, said: “We have seen the excellent work that Eleven Sports has done with its football coverage and we are very confident that the network will do a great job in producing first-class, localised content for the fans across Poland.”
Eleven Sports holds rights in Poland to a number of other top-tier football leagues, including the Spanish LaLiga, Italian Serie A, French Ligue 1 and Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A.
