International pay-television operator Eleven Sports Network has agreed a four-year deal for exclusive live broadcasting rights to the European Handball Federation’s Champions League club competition in Belgium, Poland, Malaysia and Singapore.
The deal includes the 2015-16 to 2018-19 seasons of the Champions League’s men’s and women’s competitions. Along with television rights, Eleven also takes on the over-the-top, IPTV and mobile rights for all four markets.
Eleven Sports, the second channel of Eleven Sports Network, will be the exclusive home of the EHF Champions League following its launch on August 22.
The rights package includes 120 matches per season from the group phase of the men’s EHF Champions League, the last-16 ties and all 12 games from the quarter-finals and EHF Final Four.
Eleven Sports will provide 78 live games per season from the women’s Champions League.
