Euroleague extends rights deals in Greek and Cypriot markets

Euroleague Basketball has agreed a two-year extension to its contract with its broadcast rights licensee in the Greek and Cypriot markets, the Asset OgilvyEntertainment agency.

Asset OgilvyEntertainment currently holds the marketing rights for the 2014-15 and 2015-16 Euroleague seasons and has now added two more years, 2016-17 and 2017-18, to the existing contract.

By the time the newly-extended agreement ends, the relationship between Euroleague Basketball and Asset OgilvyEntertainment will have spanned more than a decade from when it started in the 2007-08 season.

Since then, Euroleague Basketball games have been available for Greek and Cypriot basketball fans through pay-television broadcaster Nova, public-service broadcaster ERT and commercial broadcaster Skai.
