Uefa, European football’s governing body, agreed deals in Cyprus for the Europa League for three years, from 2012-13 to 2014-15, with public-service broadcaster CYBC and pay-television broadcaster Cyta.
CYBC will have the first-pick match each week and will also show a weekly highlights programme.
The live rights to all other matches were awarded to Cyta, which will show up to five matches per kick-off slot across its bouquet of Cytavision Sports pay-television channels. A weekly highlights show will also be broadcast on the Cytavision Sports 1 channel.
The deal includes internet and mobile rights. It was brokered by the Team Marketing agency.
