A host of elite European football clubs and players have teamed up to support a new digital media platform named Dugout, according to the Daily Mail.
The UK newspaper said the website will feature exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes video content, with clubs having been chosen based on their social media following.
English Premier League sides Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United; Italian Serie A teams Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Roma; Spanish Liga champion Barcelona; French Ligue 1 champion Paris Saint-Germain and German Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich are among the clubs said to have signed up for the venture.
Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane, and Real Madrid and Wales star Gareth Bale are also said to be among the over 100 players to have signed up. The clubs and players to have joined so far have a combined social media following of more than 1.2 billion.
Dugout will reportedly launch its free service in the coming months.
