The Europa League matches were to have filled key slots in the schedule of the generalist channel, which had hoped to launch on analogue platforms in both Belgian territories before the start of the season.
But the launch has now been delayed until February because of the time taken by cable companies to find room for the channel. Flemish operator Telenet granted EXQI space on its analogue network on October 1, after the first round of Europa League matches. Voo in Wallonia is not expected to give the go ahead until the New Year.
