Fanatiz strikes multi-faceted partnership with LaLiga North America

LaLiga North America has signed a multi-faceted sponsorship and content partnership with sports streaming platform Fanatiz.

Fanatiz debuted in 2016 and provides live and on-demand coverage in the Americas of soccer matches from Latin American leagues, as well as Spain’s LaLiga.

As part of the deal, Fanatiz has signed an exclusive sponsorship of LaLiga throughout the United States and Canada. As such, the company will be integrated into unique content offerings developed by LaLiga North America, including live pre-match shows, magazine and analysis shows distributed across LaLiga’s digital and social platforms, and exclusive experiences and interviews with legends and players.

Fanatiz will also stream United States of LaLiga, a documentary series focused on the stories and lives of LaLiga fans in the US. 

In addition, Fanatiz and LaLiga North America will work together to provide LaLiga fans enhanced engagement opportunities through unique experiences, sweepstakes and promotions.

In January, Fanatiz closed a $10m (€9m) Series A funding round investment deal with 777 Partners, a Miami-based private investment firm.

LaLiga North America is a joint venture between LaLiga and Relevent Sports Group, and serves as the exclusive representation of the competition in the US and Canada for all business and development activities.

LaLiga North America recently signed partnerships with US-based national video network GSTV and global sportsbook operator PointsBet.
