Pan-European broadcaster Eurosport is to show coverage of the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) Motocross World Championship after it reached an agreement with series promoter Youthstream.
Eurosport will broadcast in high definition all magazine programmes produced by Youthstream for the championship’s 2013 season – a service that began with the programme for the French Grand Prix in Ernée on June 9.
In addition, from June 14, Eurosport will also broadcast the magazine programmes produced for the grand prix events held earlier in the 2013 season.
Eurosport will also televise a special magazine programme for the FIM Motocross of Nations in September, where riders represent their respective countries in three separate events based on 500cc, 250cc and 125cc motorcycles.
