Pay-television broadcaster Fox Sports Netherlands has agreed a three-season extension to its rights deal with North American ice hockey league the NHL.
The agreement was struck ahead of the 2016-17 NHL season, which commenced yesterday (Wednesday), and is set to run through to the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
The NHL will continue to complement Fox Sports’ coverage of the major US sports in the Netherlands. It also broadcasts five games per week from American football league the NFL and seven games per week from Major League Baseball.
