Fox Sports renews Big3 rights deal

The Fox Sports division of US network Fox has renewed a rights partnership with Big3, a three-on-three, half-court basketball league that launched earlier this year.

Fox Sports has been broadcasting the inaugural Big 3 season, which concludes on Saturday, and has now committed to covering the 2018 campaign.

The 2017 Big3 Championship Game takes place on Saturday at Las Vegas’s MGM Grand Garden Arena, and pits the undefeated Trilogy team, which is captained by Kenyon Martin and Al Harrington, against 3 Headed Monsters, led by Rashard Lewis and Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf. Fox Sports will show live coverage of the game.

Fox Sports has shown delayed coverage of regular-season games during the 2017 season, which commenced on June 25.

Big3 was co-founded by music legend Ice Cube and entertainment executive Jeff Kwatinetz.
