Spanish agency Mediapro’s football channel Gol TV acquired rights to the Uefa Europa League in a three-year deal from 2012-13 to 2014-15.
Gol TV’s package includes all matches, live and delayed, excluding the first-pick match, rights for which have not yet been awarded and are subject to another round of bidding.
Gol TV will show live one match per kick-off slot plus a weekly highlights programme. The agreement includes internet and mobile rights. The Team Marketing agency brokered the deal.
Gol TV last year lost its rights to the Uefa Champions League for matches outside the first-choice games on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to rival broadcaster Prisa TV.
