The IMG Sports Media agency has agreed a television production and rights distribution deal with Tourism Brunei for the 2012 edition of UCI Asia Tour cycling event the BHC Tour de Brunei.

The deal will involve IMG producing five half-hour programmes covering each day of the event, which commenced today and runs through to September 30, along with a one-hour highlights show. The programming will air on ESPN Star Sports, the pan-Asian sports broadcaster, in late October.

An English language feature will be shown on Trans World Sport, the sports magazine programme which is distributed by IMG to over 35 broadcasters worldwide, while Sports News Television, a sports video news service owned by IMG and the Associated Press, will also feature short video news releases on the race.
