The Infront Sports & Media agency has secured a series of rights deals for upcoming seasons of the Champions Hockey League pan-European ice hockey club competition.
Swedish public-service broadcaster SVT and German sports broadcaster Sport1 have picked up the rights in their respective countries for six seasons, from 2017-18 to 2022-23.
The Arena Sport group of sports television channels will also broadcast coverage of games in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia from 2017-18 to 2022-23.
Slovenian public-service broadcaster RTV, in combination with Sport TV, will show matches in the country from 2017-18 to 2022-23, while Turkish digital-terrestrial channel SportsTV has acquired rights for the same period.
In addition, international sports broadcaster ESPN will show games in Brazil during the six-season period, while Israeli pay-television broadcaster Charlton has acquired rights for the same cycle.
Meanwhile, AMC Networks International-Central Europe, the central European division of US entertainment company AMC Networks, has acquired rights to the 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia.
The rights covered by all deals include full-length, live, delayed and highlights across all media platforms including television, mobile and online.
