The Infront Sports & Media agency has created a new French subsidiary to target the local market with its international media rights portfolio and sports marketing expertise.
Infront France will be based in Paris and led by managing director Jean-François Jeanne, who previously spent over eight years as senior vice-president and deputy managing director at the Sportfive France agency.
Infront said the new subsidiary would lead to an increased focus by the company on the French market.
Philippe Blatter, president and chief executive of Infront Sports & Media, said: “The inauguration of Infront France is a logical step within Infront’s growth strategy. Our Group has already established a large network of rights holders and commercial partners in France and we will now expand on this with a dedicated subsidiary. We are looking forward to offering our broad expertise, full range of premium services and tested solutions to existing and new clients in the country.”
Infront represents a number of rights holders hosting major sports events in the country, including various World Cup competitions from the Fédération Internationale de Ski, skiing’s global governing body, and the annual Ironman event in Nice.
