The Infront Sports & Media agency has extended its media and marketing partnership with the International Ski Mountaineering Federation.
The new five-year deal will run until 2021 and covers the ISMF Individual, Sprint and Vertical World Cup, as well as the ISMF World and Continental Championships.
Under the agreement, Infront will continue to produce and distribute five 15-minute magazine highlights programmes for all World Cup weekends, and a 25-minute magazine for the ISMF World Championships.
The programming features race footage, results and standings, event location background, insight into training sessions, athlete profiles and background coverage and is produced with English-language commentary.
Infront’s distribution strategy for the programming is global and starts in countries where the ISMF World Cup is most popular. It also reaches territories where ski mountaineering is growing in profile.
Infront is also handling the majority of advertising rights within camera view and the implementation of partner advertising materials for ISMF events.
The ISMF World Cup is broken down into individual, sprint and vertical disciplines. The 2016-17 edition of the competition will take place from January 21 to April 9, with events scheduled in Andorra, France, Turkey, Italy and Spain. Transcavallo in Italy will stage the 2017 ISMF World Championships from February 23 to March 1.
The Infront extension comes after the ISMF officially obtained full recognition from the International Olympic Committee in August.
