Mediaset will broadcast all races live and free-to-air across the 2017-18 to 2019-20 seasons, with the contract including the option of a three-year extension.
Races will be broadcast by the Italia 1 and Mediaset Italia 2 channels, commencing with the first rounds of the 2017-18 season in Hong Kong on December 2-3.
The deal was announced today (Thursday) as the inaugural Rome ePrix was launched in the Italian capital. The race will take place on the streets of Rome on April 14, with Italia 1 broadcasting the event.
