The MP & Silva agency has acquired rights in the Asia-Pacific region to the Latin American Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana and Copa do Brazil club football tournaments.
The deal covers all platforms and devices and will run for four years, from 2015 to 2018.
The agreement includes all territories in the Asia-Pacific region apart from China, where MP & Silva already has English-language rights to the tournaments.
The deal follows the agency’s acquisition last week of rights to the 2014 Copa Libertadores in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Myanmar, New Zealand, South Korea and Vietnam, and the 2014 Copa Sudamericana in the same territories plus Japan.
The deals have been struck with the Traffic Sports agency, with the FSA Media agency assisting negotiations.
