The International Olympic Committee has announced that its Olympic Channel digital platform is now available in six additional languages.
The channel is now available in Chinese, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese and Latin American Spanish, as well as English.
The channel launched in August following the conclusion of the Rio 2016 summer Games and had previously only been available in English.
The Olympic Channel plans to release four additional languages in the coming months, including Arabic, Japanese, Korean and Russian. The channel is also working with broadcast partners and National Olympic Committees to develop localised versions of the platform that will offer region- and language-specific user experiences.
