Pay-television broadcaster One World Sports has announced a multi-platform agreement to carry every home match of the England national cricket team through 2017 in North America.
One World Sports acquired the rights through a deal with digital sports media company Perform, which reached a rights agreement for North America and the Caribbean with the England and Wales Cricket Board, covering 2014-2017, last year.
The deal adds more than 600 hours of exclusive content to One World Sports and all matches will be broadcast live on the network’s linear television channel, digital platforms and mobile app.
One World Sports’ ECB coverage begins with the Twenty20 match between England and Sri Lanka on May 20. England will face Sri Lanka and India across the Test, one-day international and T20 formats this summer before welcoming Australia for the 2015 Ashes tour.
