The Pac-12 US college sports conference has expanded its rights partnership with Chinese internet company LeTV.
In February, LeTV agreed an initial deal to stream live coverage of 27 Pac-12 games from the 2015 college basketball season, including all 11 games of the post-season play-offs.
This agreement will now be expanded to allow LeTV to become the official digital partner of the Pac-12 in China so it can stream live coverage of more than 200 events across four sports during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.
Content will include 100 men’s basketball games as well as at least 24 American football, women’s football and women’s basketball games.
Pac-12 Networks, the conference’s content and multi-platform media company, will produce and broadcast the games while the LeTV Sports service will stream coverage in China.
LeTV Sports will also offer its users access to on-demand Pac-12 highlights and other support programming.
