Premiership Rugby’s new global live streaming service will offer matches filmed using an eight-camera high-definition production as the league rolls out its direct-to-consumer strategy that it believes could be the first step to a uniform offering across the sport.

PRTV Live broadcast matches live for the first time last weekend, following in the footsteps of the English Football League’s established iFollow streaming service.
