The Professional Triathletes Organisation has today (Friday) announced the completion of a Series B funding round led by private equity firm Divergent Investments, with Warner Bros. Discovery also among the backers.
SportBusiness understands that the funding round is worth around the $30m (€28.2m) mark and also includes backing from majority investor Sir Michael Moritz, who was the sole investor in PTO’s Series A round worth $12.5m.
