Red Bull Media House signs Korean partnership

Media company Red Bull Media House is to deliver 150 long-form video-on-demand titles for the Olleh TV IPTV platform of South Korean telecommunications provider KT.

Under the partnership between KT and Red Bull Media House, the latter will provide content from various categories including sport, lifestyle and entertainment.

Olleh TV is the most popular IPTV platform in South Korea with more than five million subscribers, 70 per cent of market share and the country’s largest selection of television channels.

Alexander Koppel, chief commercial officer of Red Bull Media House, said: “At Red Bull Media House, our goal is to engage audiences with compelling experiences, and that means not only creating outstanding content but also delivering it on the platforms that appeal to today’s lifestyles.”
