Serie A approves guidelines for next rights cycle, attracts more private equity interest

Lega Serie A, governing body of the top division of Italian club football, has approved the guidelines for its next broadcast rights tender.

Clubs unanimously approved the guidelines for the centralised marketing of the rights across the three seasons spanning 2024-25 to 2026-27 at a Lega assembly meeting. This is the first step in the process, with the guidelines now set to be issued for scrutiny by Italian regulators.
