Pay-television broadcaster Setanta Asia has acquired rights for rugby union’s new European Rugby Champions Cup club competition.
Setanta Asia will show live coverage of every round of the tournament, through to the finals, in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
The length of the deal was not disclosed.
In June, the IMG agency struck a four-year deal, from 2014-15 to 2017-18, to market rights for the new Champions Cup and Challenge Cup European club rugby competitions on a global basis.
