Gursharan Sethi has been appointed as senior vice-president of affiliate sales and marketing at the Eurosport Asia-Pacific division of pan-regional sports broadcaster Eurosport.
Eurosport confirmed that Sethi, previously director of affiliate sales and business development at Eurosport Asia-Pacific, started in her new role on July 1.
Sethi has assumed responsibility for the duties previously carried out by Arjan Hoekstra, who moved last month to join media company Discovery International, which has a significant stake in Eurosport.
Hoekstra was appointed as president and managing director of Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific.
Sethi, based in Eurosport’s Hong Kong office, reports to Olivier Bramly, Eurosport’s senior executive vice-president and global distribution.
