Sixth Street ‘set to add’ Barcelona deal to Real Madrid investment

US investment firm Sixth Street is poised to conclude a deal to acquire a 10 per cent share of FC Barcelona’s LaLiga broadcast rights revenue, according to multiple reports in Spain.

Barcelona will sell off 10 per cent of its broadcast rights for the next 25 years in exchange for investment of between €205m ($217.2m) and €215m, according to Spanish newspapers La Vanguardia and Sport, with an announcement expected tomorrow (Wednesday).
