German sports broadcaster Sport1 has agreed a carriage deal with pay-television operator Sky Deutschland that will make the Sport1+ HD pay-television channel available to Sky subscribers.
The channel will be added to Sky’s sports and football packages from August 2.
Media production company Constantin Medien, which owns Sport1, said Sport1+ HD would feature live men’s tennis from the ATP World Tour, as well as MotoGP motorcycling and speedway in its first month on Sky.
The channel also has rights for the German handball Bundesliga competition and the Coupe de France domestic football tournament.
