Italy’s antitrust authority, l’Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato (AGCM), has fined pay-television broadcaster Sky €1m ($1.1m) for providing misleading information regarding its Serie A football offering.

The AGCM has ruled that, in the spring of 2021, subscribers were misled into thinking they would be able to enjoy the same level of Serie A coverage on Sky during the 2021-22 season as they had during the previous campaign.
