UK pay-television broadcaster Sky has struck a new digital partnership with News UK-owned newspaper the Sun.
Under the deal, Sky customers that subscribe to Sky Sports will gain access to Sun Goals, the newspaper’s digital service that delivers goals and match clips.
Competitions covered by the service include the English Premier League and FA Cup knockout tournament, the Uefa Champions League and Europa League European competitions, and the top-tier Scottish Premiership.
Sky Sports subscribers can request a unique voucher code to access Sun Plus, the newspaper’s online video service that includes Sun Goals.
The new agreement comes after Sky last month boosted its content portfolio for the English Premier League by signing a three-season deal, from 2016-17 to 2018-19, for the league’s video clips rights.
Last month’s deal included an exclusive distribution partnership with News UK for clips to be made available across the newspaper group’s digital services.
