Oli Slipper, co-founder of digital media company Perform, has been appointed executive chairman of the Pitch International agency.
Slipper will replace current Pitch chairman Trevor East, the former head of ITV Sport and deputy managing director of pay-television broadcaster Sky. East will remain with Pitch as a partner and board member and will continue to be involved in the company’s day-to-day business.
“Pitch is uniquely positioned as a truly independent agency with genuine scale and some fantastic rights-holder partners and I’m really excited to work with the founders and management to drive the next phase of growth for the company,” Slipper said in a statement.
Slipper stood down from his role as joint-chief executive of Perform in January 2015, with fellow founder Simon Denyer (pictured) continuing as Perform’s sole chief executive.
