Sony picks up US Open rights in Indian subcontinent

Pay-television broadcaster Sony Pictures Networks has added to its portfolio of grand slam tennis tournaments by acquiring rights to the US Open in the Indian subcontinent.

The three-year deal covers this year’s edition of the US Open, which commences on August 29 in New York, along with the 2023 and 2024 tournaments.
