German sports broadcaster Sport1 acquired highlights rights for motor racing’s VLN Endurance Championship, held at the Nürburgring race track in Germany.
Sport1 will show a weekly highlights programme every Wednesday from the championship, which has 10 races and runs from March to October. The first two races have already taken place. The third is scheduled for April 14.
Sport1 may also show live streaming of the races on its website.
The sports broadcaster acquired the rights through its parent company, Constantin Medien, which agreed the rights deal with the series’ organisers.
