Dutch public-service broadcaster NOS has acquired exclusive rights for the 2014 winter Olympic Games and the 2016 summer Games, in a deal with the Sportfive agency.
NOS will cover the Sochi Games in 2014 and the Rio Games in 2016 across television, mobile, internet and radio.
NOS is the incumbent Olympic broadcaster in the Netherlands, under the European Broadcasting Union’s two-Games deal for Vancouver 2010 and London 2012.
The Sportfive agency is distributing the rights in 40 European territories for the Games in 2014 and 2016.
