Happy Ntshingila was appointed as the new chief executive of Supersport, the sub-Saharan Africa pay-television sports broadcaster.
Ntshingila, who is stepping down as chief marketing and communications officer at Absa Bank at the end of the month, will take up his new role on April 1.
He will report into Imtiaz Patel, chief executive of Multichoice, the pay-television operator which owns and distributes the Supersport channels. Multichoice is owned by Naspers, the South African media group.
