Pay-television broadcaster Ten Sports, which operates in the Indian subcontinent, has agreed a five-year deal for the exclusive rights to the MotoGP motorcycling championship, according to IndianTelevision.com.
The website, citing sources, said Ten’s deal will take effect from February 1 and include the 2015 to 2019 MotoGP seasons.
MotoGP was previously a non-exclusive property in the region, with rights shared between Ten Sports and fellow pay-television broadcasters Star India and Neo Sports.
