Albanian free-to-air broadcaster Top Channel has acquired rights for Formula One motor-racing in a two-year deal for the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
The deal was agreed with Greece-based agency Asset Ogilvy, which has the rights under a deal with Formula One Management, the series’ commercial rights-holder.
Top Channel has acquired exclusive rights for all Formula One content in the two seasons. It will show live coverage of races and qualifying sessions. It may sublicense rights for other content, such as practice sessions, to a local pay-television broadcaster.
