Norwegian commercial broadcaster TV2 has acquired exclusive rights to a trio of friendly matches featuring Borussia Dortmund as Norway’s star striker Erling Braut Haaland prepares to make his debut for the Bundesliga side.
TV2 Sumo, the broadcaster’s streaming service, will show free live coverage of Dortmund’s three exhibition matches during a winter training camp in Marbella this month.
Dortmund will face Standard Liège in the first match on January 7, before a double-header against Feyenoord and fellow Bundesliga outfit Mainz on January 11.
Dortmund last week beat Juventus and Manchester United to the signature of the highly-rated Haaland after meeting the 19-year-old’s €20m ($22.3m) buyout clause.
The striker could make his Bundesliga debut on January 18 when his new club faces a trip to Augsburg. Media company Nordic Entertainment (Nent) Group holds the Bundesliga rights in Norway (and the rest of the Nordic region).
