Pay-television operator Viasat has struck a carriage deal in Norway with pay-television broadcaster C More.
The agreement will allow Viasat to carry C More’s coverage of the Tippeligaen, the top division of football in the country.
The length of the carriage deal was not disclosed, but Viasat will be able to show coverage of the Tippeligaen from the start of the new season on April 6.
C More’s sports portfolio also includes rights to the Spanish Liga and Italy’s Serie A football top tiers plus the Uefa Europa League European club competition and coverage of hockey, tennis, martial arts, motorsport and equestrianism.
Last month, Norwegian commercial and pay-television broadcaster TV2 agreed a deal to take over C More’s sports operation in Norway.
