UK pay-television operator Virgin Media has confirmed that it is to carry a new channel from pay-television broadcaster BT Sport.
The BT Sport Europe pay-television channel will be available to Virgin Media customers from August 1.
BT Sport Europe will broadcast coverage of European football competitions such as the Uefa Champions League and Europa League club tournaments.
Details of how it will be incorporated into Virgin Media sports packages will be announced in due course.
