Football: Pay-operator Premiere acquired the Austrian pay-television rights for the top two domestic leagues, the Bundesliga and the Zac Erste division, in a three-year deal from 2007-08 to 2009-10. The deal covers 378 matches a season from the two leagues. Premiere is thought to have agreed to pay about €8m (£5.5m) a year. Public-service broadcaster ORF has already acquired the rights to one weekly match and highlights for €8.5m a season. In the present three-year deal, Premiere acquired all rights for €14m a season.
