TV RIGHTS CLIPS 1: European, Latin American football, tennis

Football: Pay-operator Premiere acquired the Austrian pay-television rights for the top two domestic leagues, the Bundesliga and the Zac Erste division, in a three-year deal from 2007-08 to 2009-10.  The deal covers 378 matches a season from the two leagues.  Premiere is thought to have agreed to pay about €8m (£5.5m) a year.  Public-service broadcaster ORF has already acquired the rights to one weekly match and highlights for €8.5m a season.  In the present three-year deal, Premiere acquired all rights for €14m a season.
