TV Rights Deals 2: NFL, NBA in Europe and Scandinavian ice hockey deals

American Football: The National Football League extended its television rights deals with US networks Fox and CBS for a further two years, up until the end of the 2012-13 season. The two networks are paying increases of about two per cent on their existing deals, in which CBS pays $622.5m (€458m) a year and Fox $712.5m. The deals were set to expire in 2011 and the NFL was not due to begin renewal talks until next year.
