French pay-television broadcaster beIN Sport has acquired the rights for this autumn’s triangular international rugby league series between France, England and Wales.
The series will involve four matches. In the first stage, every team plays each other to decide who plays in the final. The match schedule commences with France v Wales on Saturday, October 20; followed by Wales v England on Saturday, October 27; England v France on Saturday, November 3 and the final on Sunday, November 11.
Al Jazeera-owned beIN Sport has not yet released details of its coverage plans for the tournament.
UK public-service broadcaster the BBC acquired rights for the same tournament in a deal reported by TVSM Daily yesterday.
