International sports broadcaster Eurosport has acquired live rights for Bradley Wiggins’ International Cycling Union Hour Record attempt this Sunday, June 7.
The rights cover Europe, excluding the UK, and the Asia-Pacific region. The rights are exclusive in France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland and Spain.
The event, in which Wiggins will try to beat the current record of 52.937km held by fellow Briton Alex Dowsett, will start at 19.30 CET at the Lee Valley VeloPark in London.
Eurosport’s live coverage, which will be shown on television and the Eurosport Player digital service, will include interviews with special guests and reactions following the event.
