Fifa has agreed what it claims is a landmark deal for its Fifa+ streaming service to provide the entire 2022 World Cup for free in Brazil, while content agreements have also been signed with the Disney Group and the multi-platform channel of Brazilian footballer Ronaldo.

In a move that will broaden the reach of the tournament in Brazil, all 64 matches of Qatar 2022 will be available live and on a free basis to Brazilian audiences on Fifa+, produced in Portuguese and with local commentary and match analysis.
